KATAŞ CONSTRUCTION and DEFENSE INDUSTRY INC. has started its commercial life in 1991 as one of the companies founded by our father, deceased Hacı Kemal Ayyıldız(1942-2014), with his business life and experience more than half a century..
Our father, deceased Hacı Kemal Ayyıldız has signed a lot of firsts and innovations, which the country and we will pride on and remember proudly, in and outside the country in his business life of 59 years. Some of them are:
• He is the businessman who first brought ready-mixed concrete and put it into the disposal of Turkish construction industry. (Eska ready-mixed concrete - 1982)
• He is the businessman who brought innovation to Turkish construction sector with “folded concrete precast” system, with his invention and know-how. This system continues in the patent of KATAŞ CONSTRUCTION and DEFENSE INDUSTRY INC. , of which he is the founder.
• He is the co-founder of Finansbank, one of the first private banks of Turkey. (Finansbank - 1987)
• He is the businessmen who built and establish the first shopping complex of Turkey. (Ataköy Galleria shopping complex - 1988)
• He is the businessmen who built the biggest mono-block structure of the country and the world. (Perpa Trade Center - 1988)
As the mission of KATAŞ CONSTRUCTION and DEFENSE INDUSTRY INC.;
We shall continue our businesses and will continue for serving the country taking the successes of our deceased father Hacı Kemal Ayyıldız as an example and most important of all, under the light of being honest and ethical, his most important legacy to us.
